About

Cook’s Remedys RX was started in 2006 by Poshin Jobanputra. Poshin was destined to be an independent pharmacist with both his father and mother being pharmacists. Ashok Jobanputra bought Cook’s Pharmacy in New Hamburg and Wellesley in 1986 from Walter Cook.

Poshin started working in a pharmacy at 12 years old, dusting shelves and eventually being promoted to cashier. He graduated from pharmacy school in 1999 and worked at Cook’s Wellesley and New Hamburg until opening his own Waterloo store in 2006.

His passion for independent pharmacy and the ability to provide clinical services with personalized relationships was the driving force behind opening his first location in Waterloo. Poshin has now expanded and has pharmacies in New Hamburg, Wellesley and Kitchener.

Some of the services provided at the pharmacies are Diabetes Education, INR testing, Specialized Compounding, Compression Stocking Fitting, and Travel Advice.

Pharmacists and staff at Cook’s Pharmacy strive to provide impeccable service and health care advice to you and your family.
