INR (Point of Care) Management

Long-term treatment with warfarin is recommended for patients with atrial fibrillation at risk of stroke and those with recurrent venous thrombosis or prosthetic heart valves.

Alongside customers’ primary care provider, we can ensure the safest possible therapy for optimal health outcomes. We use the Coaguchek Meter by Roche, which provides us with accurate results within 20 seconds of pricking the finger for a blood drop.

To alleviate the risk of dosing errors we provide our customers with a calendar specifying the dose they should take each day.

All of our pharmacists are trained in Anti-Coagulation therapy from The University Of Waterloo Pharmacy School.
